Youth Summer Program
Each Summer, the African Society Foundation runs a Community Service program for youths ages 8-13 years. Youths from diverse backgrounds volunteer at our Rafiki Cubs Club® “Mowing-4-Food” initiative. This program provides unique opportunities for our youths to acquire vital life skills while engaging in community service.
Participants help Senior Citizens, Veterans, and those battling terminal illnesses in our communities. This program also supports our Village Pantry Projects which provide food and basic supplies for the elderly in rural African communities. Service appointments are available from May 1st to August 10th every year.

The African Society Foundation is currently operating three village Pantries in Kenya and is seeking additional funding and partnerships to reach more elderly and single mothers in more rural villages and other African countries.
We are grateful for the overwhelming support from our donors, partners, and volunteers. Because of you, the African Society Foundation is providing a lasting and sustainable solution to the hunger problem among the elderly and vulnerable populations in our communities.
You can support the Village Pantry Program by making a financial donation, giving food supplies, volunteering, or holding a fundraiser in your church or community to benefit this project.
